A Course of Lectures on Nanopolymers by Professor Sabu Thomas

Siberian Federal University will host a course of lectures on nanomaterials in English by Sabu Thomas, a leading scientist, honorary professor of Siberian Federal University, head of the Laboratory of Innovative Preparations and Materials of Siberian Federal University on 14-16 December 2022. Everyone is welcome.

Professor Sabu Thomas is a world-class specialist in polymers science and engineering, polymer nanocomposites, elastomers, interpenetrating polymer networks, and green nanocomposites.

The pioneering inventions of the Professor in the field of polymer technology and engineering have a transformative significance for the development of new materials for biomedical, space, automotive and other fields.

He made a great contribution to the development of green chemistry and green composite materials; created a family of new materials based on cellulose, plant fibers, wood waste and various synthetic polymers, substantiated the prospects for their use as biodegradable packaging, membrane and filter systems, for biomedicine, electronics, and automotive industry and so on. Prof. Sabu Thomas is an author of more than 900 publications, including 73 books; h-index — 67, total number of citations is 20676.
