New Professions for the Youth of Indigenous Minorities All-Russian Forum at SibFU

The first event of the forum — the round table — will be held on November 25, 2022 from 10:00 to 12:00 in the room B4-11 of SibFU Library (Svododny pr., 79/10). In-person and online participation is available.

New professions for North and the Arctic round table is dedicated to expert discussion on the following issues:

  • Do North and the Arctic really need new professions, or is it enough to "complete" the professions that exist and are successfully implemented in other territories?
  • Without which new professions will the strategic development of North and the Arctic have a low pace?

The presentation of the book titled The National Policy of the USSR in relation to the indigenous minorities of the North in Evenk and Taymyr National Districts of Krasnoyarsk Territory in the 1920s-1970s by the staff of the Department of Cultural Studies and Art History of School for the Humanities of Siberian Federal University will take place within the framework of the round table.

Moderator of the round table is Natalia Koptseva, Doctor of Philosophy, professor, acting head of Educational Activities of School of North and the Arctic, acting director of the International Northern School, head of the Department of Cultural Studies and Art History of School for the Humanities of Siberian Federal University
